Central Maine Cardiovascular Surgery (CMCS) is a group practice, so after regular office hours and on weekends and care providers share coverage on an alternating basis,. A care provider is available for patients at all times, better assuring continuity of care for everyone.
Telephone Advice or Questions
If you have a non-emergency medical question, call the office between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. when your records are readily available. CMCS nurses and staff are specially trained to answer questions and pass information between you and your physician. We will make every attempt to return your call by the end of the day.
Laboratory, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine
Central Maine Cardiovascular Surgery routinely reports the results of all laboratory, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine services to our patients. If you do not hear from the office by phone or by mail within 14-21 days following your testing, please contact the office regarding your results.
