Vascular Lab

The Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute's Vascular Lab uses non-invasive vascular studies to diagnose certain conditions and abnormalities of the circulatory system, including blood vessel blockages and aneurysms.

Non-invasive procedures generally achieve results similar to those of more invasive tests, but do so with less discomfort for patients. The lab places top priority on efficiently gathering accurate diagnostic information for planning effective treatment.

The Vascular Lab is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. The lab's sonographers are nationally certified.
