Arbor House - Free On-Site Family Housing

The hospitalization of a family member can be an emotional, exhausting, and traumatic time. For those living outside the Lewiston-Auburn area, finding housing, meals, and transportation can become an expensive and trying ordeal. To help ease this burden for patients and their loved ones, Central Maine Medical Center created The Arbor House.

The Arbor House is a temporary lodging facility located near CMMC and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute. The Arbor House provides a warm, safe and comfortable environment with homelike amenities -- all at no charge.
