Proper treatment of an illness or injury requires a proper diagnosis. At the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, physicians have an array of diagnostic technologies at their command. Some of these tests are administered by physicians and others are done by trained technologists.

The results of these diagnostic work-ups are interpreted by CMHVI’s physicians who use the information as the basis for developing both medical and surgical treatment plans.
